Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 4, 2026

1. Who We Are

Claude Learn ("the App") is a mobile learning application published by Latitude 44 ("we", "us", "our"), based in Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Collect

The App is anonymous-by-design. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or marketing-tracking identifiers. The App does not require an account.

We do collect the following limited data:

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited data described above only to:

We do not profile users for advertising. We do not show third-party ads. We do not send marketing emails (because we do not have your email address).

4. Service Providers We Share Limited Data With

We use the following third parties only for the functionality you choose to use. Each receives the smallest amount of data necessary and is bound by its own privacy commitments.

5. Data Storage, Retention, and Location

Our backend is hosted on cloud infrastructure with TLS encryption in transit and access controls at rest. The minimal purchase records and anonymous analytics events are retained for as long as the App is in operation, unless you ask us to delete them (see "Your Rights" below).

PostHog is hosted in the United States. Google, Apple, Anthropic, and Stripe each operate global infrastructure as described in their own privacy policies linked above.

6. Security

We follow standard best practices for app and server security, including TLS encryption for all network traffic and access controls on stored records. We deliberately keep the surface area of collected data minimal so there is less to protect. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us using the details below and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (Canada / EU / UK / California / elsewhere) you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Because we collect only anonymous data tied to a device UUID, requests are processed by reference to that UUID — you can find yours inside the App under Settings → About → Debug info.

To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact details below.

9. Opting Out of Analytics

Analytics events fired by the App are limited and anonymous. If you nonetheless wish to opt out, you may either uninstall the App or request a data deletion using the contact email below. We may add an explicit in-app opt-out toggle in a future release.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date at the top of the page, and where appropriate we will notify users through the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
